Outstanding....Works great for what I was looking for. What I wanted to do was add gradients to text with pure css3, but I was unsuccessful with cross browser usage since some aspects only work with -webkit-. This works just as great if not better. However, I have one small issue maybe someone can help me with this. The text I'm using gets cut off on the bottom when the size in increased. For example the word "great"; the letter "g" will have the loop at the bottom cut off partially. Is there any way to increase the size of the .rainbow to compensate for this?

it not working on my site, everything i set same as demo, i just change from <h1> to <h4> include in "This is where the magic happens", the font change but nothing in backgroun, is something wrong?

OK for my last comment - here is fix. Add this reset method in rainbows.js, and call it when you need to change the rainbowed text in JS:

reset: function(o) {
$(o.selector).each(function() {
// This is necessary if you plan to change the text and then re-rainbow it. initHTML was saved if rainbows was run
// previously - and when you rainbowed it, you lost your original text and any ASP.NET controls in there. This

OK - big question. Say I update the text with javascript and want to re-rainbow it. No worky! The old test remains. I tried
$(".rainbows").remove();
to try to get rid of the spans... but it stays there. Help!

I find your site and the scripts you created some of the best on the web. The gradient script makes designing and developing a site much smoother without all those graphics taking up bandwidth and space on the page.
